Liverpool Guitar Society and Gallery4allarts are bringing to the local audience, this recital comprising of expressive songs and arias from early to baroque era and to classical music.
The repertoire chosen by the artist and singer, Nicole Bartos, is a meditative reflection on the theme of ‘love, life and death’ and has been arranged for solo and duet guitar by Richard Harding, composer and director of Liverpool Guitar Society.
The programme will include Handel (selections from Agrippina; Xerxes, Rinaldo), Caccini, Cesti, Pergolesi, Gluck, Giordani, Paisiello, Bellini, Persiani (Ines di Castro), Dowland and Purcell.

The recital together with the art exhibition at the hosting venue, Blackburne House, fundraises to support poor and homeless local people, via parishes in South Liverpool, to stock up with food, blankets and resources, and providing food bags for poor and homeless people and those sleeping rough.
