Hosted by The Reader | 6 pm – 11 pm (Last entry 9 pm) | Wednesday 15 September 2021 | Theatre Room, Mansion House, Calderstones Park, Liverpool L18 3JB
Over 4000 years ago, the first Scousers built a stone monument and gathering place. Today we call these megaliths the Calder Stones. Did prehistoric people travel to them to celebrate life, share stories or connect with their community? Discover the secrets of the Stone Age at this interactive after-hours event by the Reader, created in collaboration with 18–25-year-olds.
The bar will be open and food and drink will be available to purchase. The prehistoric inspired menu will include Stone Age Scouse and Foragers Salad.
To celebrate Heritage Open Days, this event is free of charge for anyone to enjoy. At the moment, to keep everyone safe, there are a limited number of spaces available and lots of people would like to book. Therefore, they kindly ask that if your plans change and you can no longer join, to cancel the booking which will release the space for someone else to enjoy.
