The Big Dig at The Old Library

On Saturday 15th June, The Big Dig will take place between 10am – 3pm at the Old Library , where you can witness a real archeological dig in action!

Lister Steps is working with the Museum of Liverpool and a team of local volunteers to excavate the grounds around the building, to see if they can find anything that reveals more about our local heritage. Tours will be running inside the ground floor of The Old Library, providing opportunity for people to see the building’s interior before the main restoration work begins.
