Hosted by The Black-E | 4 pm Onwards | Tuesday 14 June 2022 | 1 Great George Street, Liverpool L1 5EW

In June 2022, The Black-E will bring people together to complete a new visual artwork. This artist-led community project will provide an opportunity for our diverse communities to remember the Black, Asian, and ethnic minority health professionals who disproportionately lost their lives during the COVID19 pandemic. This event is part of their ongoing work to support health system leaders to work with practitioners from Black, Asian and historically marginalized communities to power change across communities most affected by health inequalities.
This new visual artwork will be presented by a delegation at the NHS Confederation’s NHS Expo taking place in Liverpool on 15/16 June 2022. This event will be attended by 4,000 people, click here for more information regarding this event.
The artwork will then return to its permanent home at the Black-E, which is in the centre of a diverse community – in the heart of Chinatown, Liverpool. Professional photos will be taken to upload to the Memorial Wall/Website.
