The Brain Charity’s Festival of Happiness

Event Date: 08 September 2021

Hosted by The Brain Charity | 10:30 am – 4 pm | Wednesday 8 September 2021 | The Brain Charity, Norton Street, L3 8LR

The Brain Charity is holding their annual open event: Head Matters Day this month, the theme for this year is “Festival of Happiness”. You can go along to learn more about living with neurological conditions, neurodiversity and all the ways The Brain Charity can support you.

The activity day will feature a show from stand up comedian Laurence Clark, a cookery demonstration with MasterChef contestant Raheel Mirza, a talk from a happiness expert, therapy dogs, laughter yoga, a silent disco, a performance from the Brain Charity’s choir and much more.

It’s also a great chance to meet The Brain Charity’s employment, welfare benefits, info & advice and volunteering teams and find out more about their projects for people living with dementia and children with neurological conditions.

There will be stands staffed by a range of partners including Farm Urban, Ataxia North West, Daisy UK, The University of Glasgow’s Institute of Neuroscience and Psychology and many others.

The event is totally free to attend and open to all – whether you have a neurological condition, care for someone who does or are just interested in finding out more.
