The future of Liverpool City Council Grant Funding | Workshops for VCS Organisations

Event Date: 19 July 2023

Two Workshops in July 2023 | Various Locations

Locality is running two workshops for Liverpool-based voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations to talk about the future of grant funding at Liverpool City Council.

Locality has been commissioned by Liverpool City Council to conduct a review of two of its VCS grants. The Community Resources Grant which is currently the main funding programme for the support of VCS organisations and their programmes of activity; and the Youth and Play Grant which is the currently main funding programme for the support of play and youth provision.

Each workshop will focus on one of the grant programmes:

  • Wednesday 19 July 2023 from 2 – 4 PM. Held at The Florrie, 377 Mill St, Liverpool L8 4RF.
This will focus on the Community Resources Grant.
  • Friday 21 July 2023 from 10 AM – 12 PM. Held at Lister Steps, The Old Library, Green Ln, Old Swan, Liverpool L13 7EB.
This will focus on the Youth and Play Grant.

You do not need to have been awarded one of these grants to attend the workshop; they welcome attendees with current or prior experience of receiving a grant as well as other VCS organisations based in Liverpool. The workshops will give you the opportunity to share your views on how Liverpool City Council’s grant programmes could best support the VCS and deliver outcomes for Liverpool’s communities.
