The Interchange Experience – New Module for 2018

Event Date: 23 January 2018

Tuesday 23 January 2018 at 1.30-4.30pm at Friends Meeting House, Liverpool.

Interchange is a registered charity that connects higher education institutions with voluntary sector organisations from Greater Merseyside for the purpose of research and work-based learning projects. Partaking students are from Sociology, Social Policy and Criminology departments from the University of Liverpool’s School of Law and Social Justice. This is a free service.

Interchange is introducing a new module to support the demands of the voluntary sector and to give more students the opportunity to work in this field.

voluntary sector organisations are working hard to implement national and local policies relevant to their organisation. Some policies are very cumbersome and not easy to put into practice. Interchange’s new offer is to support you and your colleagues by collaborating with an Interchange student to produce a report on how a specific piece of legislation is put into action in your organisation.

This event is organised to discuss your ideas and the intended module. The agenda will also include the following:

  • What is a Literature Review
  • How it can benefit you
  • What is a Policy Analysis
  • What ideas are acceptable

If you would like to attend or discuss this further then please contact us at interchange@liverpool.ac.uk or telephone Claudette or Alishia on 0151 794 2986 / 795 8684.
