The Northern Network: Autumn Gathering and ideas sharing workshop

Event Date: 21 November 2022

Hosted by Groundwork Cheshire, Lancashire and Merseyside | Monday 21 November 2022 | 09:30 – 11:30 am | Grow Speke, Ganworth Road, Speke, Liverpool, L24 / Online

Groundwork in the North (Cheshire, Lancashire and Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Yorkshire, North and South Tyneside and Cumbria) want to unite community food growers, community centres, gardens, farms, allotments, growing spaces, and most importantly the people who do, create, share and grow; in a new Northern Network: radical community with multiple green community hubs at its heart.

This Network will exist both physically and virtually, through a website, events, training and peer support programmes and funding advice. They are looking for organisations across the North who would like to join this community and collaborate with them to create a movement for change.

They are hosting an ideas gathering workshop in our area to hear your views on what this network should do, what training you would like to see, and how Groundwork can support you to achieve this.

These workshops will be half a day and they hope that they will be an opportunity to network with your peers, hear more about the Northern Network and how you can get involved with it, and share your views on what we do next.
