Hosted by the Valley Community Theatre | Doors open at 7 pm. The event starts at 7:30 pm | Friday 27, Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 August 2021 | Valley Community Theatre, Childwall Valley Road, L27 3YA.

The Valley Theatre Short Play Festival is gearing up for a blitz of dramatic creativity with fifteen plays in three days, as it prepares to open its doors.

The festival will be showcasing fifteen new plays with a rich variety of subject matter and styles of theatre by local writers, chosen from an impressive array of submissions. The job of perfecting the plays and bringing them to stage readiness has been taken on by a number of local companies from Liverpool’s vibrant theatre scene. Participants will be competing for trophies for best play, best actor and best direction. The awarding will be supervised by the Festival Adjudicator – Ms Sue Doherty, GODA (Guild of Drama Adjudicators), who will also offer comments and advice on the plays. The festival signals a welcome return to the Valley Community Theatre in Netherley for performances that are open to the public.

You can obtain tickets at the door on the days of the event, or online at the Valley Community Theatre website or by phoning 07746 697 263.
Tickets are £5/£4.
