Towards Maturing Personal Leadership

Event Date: 16 October 2017

Monday 16 October 2017, 2-5pm – Blackburne House, Hope Street, Liverpool, L8 7PE.

This workshop brings together an inspiring introduction to two creative and complementary approaches to the perspectives and processes of maturing aware leadership.

In the light of your responsibilities and the expectations on you:

  • Do you feel that the uncertainties and complexities of the future require you to be bolder, to navigate and resolve the challenges towards something better?
  • Do you aspire to be a person who leads with humanity by bringing your “whole self” to your “work in the world” within your organisation or community?

The workshop will explore these questions. It is delivered by Heidi Gutekunst from Finland and Ed Kelly from Ireland as the founders of Amara and The Third Act. They bring ideas on how individuals, leaders, and organisations find the wisdom and courage to navigate and negotiate the increasingly complex challenges ahead if we are to achieve our visions. It is the recurring themes of collaboration, social justice, and ‘wholeness’, which are at the very heart of ‘aware’ courageous leadership.

It will provide an introduction to both The Third Act and Amara Collaboration, with stories on how their respective approaches have supported individual journeys to maturing personal leadership at all stages of life and career.

If this resonates with you – wherever you are in your life – come and explore and have quality conversations with like-minded people.

Fees: £50 for the workshop, including refreshments or £45 per person for bookings of 3 or more
