Universal Credit Full Service Information Session

Event Date: 19 March 2018

This event is now fully booked.

Monday 19 March 2018, 1-4pm – 151 Dale Street.

LCVS has been linking with the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) to explore opportunities for local organisations to support clients who are affected by the Welfare Reforms.

As you may already know, the Universal Credit full service is being rolled out in the majority of Liverpool postcodes from September 2018, and DWP have agreed to deliver an introduction session for frontline workers working with clients affected by this process.

This meeting will provide you with an opportunity to learn about the Universal Credit full service, as well as offering you the chance to raise any questions. Universal Credit full service will be available to all claimant types that are in and out of work such as, families, single parents, carers and those with certain health conditions.

Before launching the enhanced full service in Liverpool, DWP will be raising the awareness for claimants through the Jobcentres and Local Authorities. However, delivering Universal Credit successfully will involve building strong relationships locally, and this will include working closely with all stakeholders and partners including social landlords, private landlords and the voluntary sector.
