#VOTE100 – International Women’s Day Event

Thursday 8 March 2018, 10am-1pm – Blackburne House, Blackburne Place, Liverpool, L8 7PE.

Blackburne House welcomes you to celebrate International Women’s Day. The Social Inclusion team will be there to highlight Women’s Health. There is also a showing of a silent suffragette movie ‘Make More Noise’, performances, suffragette crafts, a debate corner, plus free refreshments.

1.30-3pm The Journey and the Suitcase
Blackburne House is hosting the Toxteth Women’s Centre Somalia Group’s theatre piece ‘The Journey and the Suitcase’ plus a Q+A with the theatre group. Free entry (limited spaces).

6-9pm Women for Peace: Learning from Northern Ireland (SOLD OUT)
This event celebrates the work of the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Peace Foundation in promoting the crucial role that women play in peace-building.
