Women Who Lead: A Discussion & Networking Event

Event Date: 08 April 2021

Hosted by Liverpool World Centre | 2-4pm | Thurs 8 April 2021

Join Liverpool World Centre for a discussion with inspirational leaders and role models working in our region. The conversation will be linked to Sustainable Development Goal 5.5: Ensure women’s full and effective participation and equal opportunities for leadership at all levels of decision-making in political, economic, and public life.

The event will include a panel discussion, creative dialogue activities, short films and pledges for action inspired by this year’s International Women’s Day theme #ChooseToChallenge.

Panellists include Ngunan Adamu, Madeline Heneghan, Petronelle Moanda, Afrah Qassim, Bisakha Sarker MBE and Philomene Uwamaliya.

All individuals and organisations interested in gender equality issues are welcome.

Tickets are free, but there is an option to donate via Eventbrite. Proceeds from the Women Who Lead event will support our new summer conference for young women aged 14-18. The conference aims to empower young people to have their voices heard about global issues, such as climate change and gender equality.

Learn about the panellists and register your place via Eventbrite.
