The programme is aimed at NEET young adults aged 18-25 years old. It offers young people not currently in education, employment or training opportunity to gain hands on training of working in light, sound and theatre production.

Bass Techs aims to challenge under-representation in the arts workforce, by training young people who may not have known about or necessarily been interested in a technical apprenticeship. With real employment opportunities for technicians in Liverpool, the Base Techs programme offers a good route to employment.

The training takes place over 3 days a week from September 2019 – July 2020.

These sessions are a chance for potential Base Tech recruits to visit the theatre, find out about the course and have a go at some of the activities that they can expect to participate in if they take part.

For more information about the Base Techs, or to express your interest in a taster session, visit the Everyman and Playhouse website. Click here to be diverted to the relevant page. Alternatively you can email community@everymanplayhouse.com.
