Not content with launching the UK’s first young-person led publisher, Comic’s Youth is at it again, with another ground-breaking venture: a Comics Youth Newspaper. Now they need your help to make it happen!
The Comics Youth Newspaper doesn’t currently have a name, and that’s because the organisation doesn’t yet have a team of young, talented and aspiring artists, writers, and journalists of the future to come up with one!
The paper will be distributed across the Liverpool City Region (and beyond!). Furthermore, the team of newsies who’ll put it together will be supported and mentored by a team of professional artists and writers, providing a unique opportunity to gain valuable work experience, learn new skills, and maybe even make new friends along the way.
If you’re aged between 8 and 25 and are interested in joining the Comics Youth newspaper squad, then please drop us an email at hi@comicsyouth.co.uk with the subject line: EXTRA! EXTRA! CY NEWSPAPER, and let us know your name and age. We’ll get back to you at the start of November.
We’re looking for artists and writers of all skill levels, so don’t be shy about registering your interest! The most important thing is that we find people with passion, enthusiasm and ideas.
The deadline to register your interest is 31st October.
