Exciting opportunity for Young People aged 14-25 years old to join Merseyside Youth Commission

Young people are currently being recruited to join the new Merseyside Youth Commission (MYC) on Police and Crime. This is an exciting initiative in partnership with Police Merseyside Police.

The Youth Commission allows young people to support, challenge and inform the work of the Merseyside police and enables young people to have a voice on the issues most important to them. It’s a brilliant opportunity to develop skills, work directly with key decision-makers and high-ranking police officers and gain valuable CV experience. As well as being part of making a positive change in the community.

The Youth Commission is aimed at young people aged 14-25 years who want to make a difference to their community. They’re looking for a diverse group of young people from different backgrounds and life experiences to take part, including those who have direct experience of the criminal justice system or as victims of crime.

Members of the Youth Commission will play an important role in helping to run consultation events and gather the views and opinions of other young people about police and crime.
