FACT Liverpool – Development Officer

Contract: Permanent.
Term: Part-time (0.6 FTE).
Salary: £20,600 pro rata / £12,360 for 0.60 FTE.
Hours per week: Part-time (21 hours per week / 0.6 FTE) with the possibility to rise to full-time.
Days per week: Monday to Friday, with flexible options.
Reporting to: Head of Development.
Location: FACT Liverpool, 88 Wood Street, Liverpool L1 4DQ.

FACT Liverpool is the UK’s leading organisation for the support and exhibition of art and film that explores new media and digital culture. The award-winning FACT centre opened in 2003 in the Ropewalks area of Liverpool, a hub for independent shops, restaurants, bars, nightlife and galleries. The FACT centre houses three art galleries, four cinema screens, a lab for learning and experimentation, a cafe, and a bar. Each year they welcome 250,000 visitors to their building and collaborate with over 10,000 adults and young people through their Learning Programme, which they deliver in partnership with schools and community organisations across the Liverpool City Region.

FACT Liverpool is looking for a Development Officer to help research, cultivate and manage funding for projects and activities across FACT Liverpool’s artistic programme, including exhibitions, commissions, learning projects, talent development activities and other strategic priorities.

The purpose of the role is to help research, cultivate and manage funding for projects and activities across FACT Liverpool’s artistic programme, including exhibitions, commissions, learning projects, talent development activities and other strategic priorities.

The Development Officer will also ensure that they accurately report back their outputs and outcomes. This will involve administrative and practical support, including research, application and bid writing, preparation of reports, and supporting the Head of Development in the coordination of fundraising initiatives.

The post holder will work collaboratively with teams across the organisation and will maintain the CRM for the Development team.
