Days per week: 1 – 1.5 days per month.
Reporting to: Head of Business & Operations.
Location: Mostly remote working, with occasional office days when required (FACT Liverpool, 88 Wood Street, Liverpool L1 4DQ).

FACT Liverpool is the UK’s leading organisation for the support and exhibition of art and film that explores new media and digital culture. The award-winning FACT centre opened in 2003 in the Ropewalks area of Liverpool, a hub for independent shops, restaurants, bars, nightlife and galleries. The FACT centre houses three art galleries, four cinema screens, a lab for learning and experimentation, a cafe, and a bar. Each year they welcome 250,000 visitors to their building and collaborate with over 10,000 adults and young people through their Learning Programme, which they deliver in partnership with schools and community organisations across the Liverpool City Region.

Job Description

FACT Liverpool looking for a Finance Director to provide consultancy on a freelance basis. As Finance Director, you would be responsible for ensuring that their financial function is effective and efficient, whilst providing strategic and financial guidance.

Their Financial Manager works three days a week and is responsible for all day-to-day financial functions: Xero, payments, preparation of management accounts, VAT, payroll and pension processing and budget profiling throughout the year.

The Finance Director will work with the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Business and Operations and the Finance Manager.
