FACT Liverpool is the UK’s leading organisation for the support and exhibition of art and film that explores new media and digital culture. The award-winning FACT centre opened in 2003 in the Ropewalks area of Liverpool, a hub for independent shops, restaurants, bars, nightlife and galleries. The FACT centre houses three art galleries, four cinema screens, a lab for learning and experimentation, a cafe, and a bar. Each year they welcome 250,000 visitors to their building, and collaborate with over 10,000 adults and young people through their Learning Programme, which they deliver in partnership with schools and community organisations across the Liverpool City Region.

Job Summary

FACT Liverpool is looking to recruit someone with an accounting or finance background to a voluntary position to their Board of Trustees to provide oversight and advice to their finance team. As a Trustee, you will bring your financial knowledge and experience to help guide the financial decision-making of their charity, working closely with the other members of their Board to safeguard FACT’s finances and future. Ideally, you will be a person of integrity with a keen interest in their mission – to enrich lives and shape the future through art, film and creative technology – who is able to ’translate’ financial information to assist other trustees to understand FACT’s finances.
