Liverpool City Council is working with Sport England and NHS Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group to launch a campaign to encourage people aged 40 – 75 living with a health condition to be active.
The campaign launches today – 1 September 2020 – under the city’s physical activity brand, Fit For Me, which as reached over 100,000 people since its launch in 2016. The campaign is aligned to the Sport England campaign, We Are Undefeatable.
Local insight highlights that a significant number of people in the city living with a health condition do not meet the physical activity guidelines. This campaign offers the opportunity to motivate people to improve their health and wellbeing and quality of life, and to encourage positive changes to their lifestyles.
There will be a media campaign run across radio, the Liverpool Echo and social media. In addition, free campaign resources are available.
Public Health Liverpool wishes to thank the many organisations who have already shown their support by ordering free resources. If you would like to obtain these resources you can do so below. They will be delivered during the first few weeks of September.
