Do you like the idea of pursuing a career in film or television?

Liverpool-based film makers First Take are running free filmmaking training for unemployed people, based in Liverpool.

You could begin your filmmaking journey by learning the basic skills needed for a range of different roles, including camera operator, sound recordist, boom operator, Director, art director, production manager and editor. You’ll learn all of this while working on your own short film project.

The course includes a visit to BBC Media City, CV writing and opportunity to find out about jobs in the industry.
