Free hospitality training at The Florrie

The Florrie is offering free hospitality training to unemployed people aged 19 and over, based in Liverpool. This is fantastic news because the hospitality industry is thriving in Liverpool, and it provides great job and career opportunities.

The course will take place Mondays and Tuesdays for 4 weeks (totalling 40 hours) starting 7th October. It is designed to help participants develop the skills they need to be work-ready and stand out to potential employers.

Covering customer service, catering, food service and bar-tending, with a mix of classroom learning and opportunity to gain work experience on site at The Florrie, those who complete the course will be invited to join The Florrie’s bank of staff and work at events throughout the year.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to gain certificates in:

  • Food Safety
  • First Aid
  • White Badge Tourism Guide Award
  • Health & Safety Training
  • SIA Security Training

It is FREE to attend if you are unemployed or economically inactive and over 19 years. There is no upper age limit. Particularly welcome are those who wish to gain new skills to help them return to the workforce after a long absence. You must be a legal resident in the UK and able to take up paid employment in a European member state.
