Free Research Support for Non-profit Organisations

Would your organisation benefit from a research project to support your aims? If you are you a voluntary and community organisation and could support a student community researcher for 20 weeks, Interchange can help you.

Interchange is a registered charity that connects higher education institutions with voluntary and community organisations for the purpose of research and work-based learning research projects. The students are in their third year and mainly from the Department of Sociology, Social Policy and Criminology within the School of Law and Social Justice at the University of Liverpool.

A research project can provide assistance with a specific task planned by your organisation, and can provide evidence to assist you with areas such as:

  • Business planning
  • Annual Reports
  • Funding applications
  • Improving services
  • Becoming more sustainable

Students will start with the organisation in September 2018 and produce a final report in May 2019. There is no charge for the service but organisations must meet the basic travel expenses incurred by the student and to pay for the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) if required.

If you have a project idea and would like to take part, or to find out more, contact the Interchange Co-ordinator on 0151 794 2986 / 0151 795 8684, or email interchange@liv.ac.uk.

Deadline for applications: Friday 13 April 2018
