Freshfields Animal Rescue Vacancy: Fundraising Officer

Salary: £21,450 p.a. (pro rata)
Hours: 30 hours per week
Contract: Permanent – subject to 12-month review

Freshfields is offering an opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to join the Animal Welfare award-winning team. If you have fantastic people skills, a passion for the cause and a proven fundraising ability then this is the job for you.

Freshfields Animal Rescue is a respected and well established charity that has a reputation for the highest standards of care for all animals. The charity implements its principles without compromise. They are at the heart of every decision made. Healthy animals are never put down and every animal is cared for until that time when it can provided with a safe and secure new home. This is important to Freshfields, to those who support the charity, and most importantly to the animals in its care.

Freshfields is proud of its non-discrimination policy about what animals to help. Freshfields have kennels, a cattery, a wildlife unit for birds and hedgehogs, a fox unit serving Merseyside and Lancashire, stables, small animal unit and a farm.

Freshfields Animal Rescue has two rescue centres, one in Ince Blundell, Sefton and one in North Wales, as well as ten shops across Liverpool Southport and Wales. Outreach animal welfare and education services are delivered in the community and there is an army of passionate volunteers who help make it all possible.

Your role will be support this work as a member of Fundraising team.  You will have an office base in Southport and spend a great deal of your time out and about across Merseyside, and sometimes Wales, highlighting the cause, attracting new supporters and supporting the fundraising volunteers.
