Get involved with the development of a Clinical and Care Leadership Framework

The future of the Cheshire & Merseyside Integrated Care System (ICS) is being shaped with the development of a Clinical and Care Leadership Framework. It will outline how clinical and care professionals will be involved in all aspects of ICS decision-making.

If you are a leader of a VCFS organisation in Cheshire and Merseyside that provides health and care services, your views are being sought to develop the framework.

This framework is being developed over the next few months using an interactive collaboration tool called Idea Drop. There will be a series of questions/challenges over the coming months where you can drop your ideas, view and comment on the ideas of others, and see how ideas move through a ‘pipeline’ as the framework develops.

Get involved

Sign up to Idea Drop here and an invitation will be emailed to you within one business day. You can download the Idea Drop app through your usual app store to get ready.

More information

NHS England has published a guidance document on what a good clinical and care leadership framework looks like, as well as five guiding principles for its development. All ICSs in England are required to submit a leadership framework to the NHS prior to 1 July 2022.

Share the word

Their goal in Cheshire & Merseyside is to have the most inclusive leadership framework possible. They want to engage all people from across the whole health and care community. They need everyone’s help to reach deep into their networks so they can hear voices that are often missed.
