Grow Wild Funding Opportunities

Grow Wild, the outreach project of Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, has two grant funds open for application: community projects and for youth-led projects. We’re interested in projects inspired by UK native wildflowers, plants and fungi, that help people connect to each other and nature.

Their Community projects fund (deadline Monday 10 December) award £2k or £4k for groups and organisations trying something new or different to engage hundreds of people in their community about UK native wildflowers/plants/fungi, where there are opportunities to help people connect with, learn about and give to each other and nature.

Their Youth-led projects fund (rolling deadlines) award £500 for young people aged 14-25. Projects should be creative, actively engage other people in their delivery, and be inspired by UK native wildflowers or fungi. Beyond that, anything is up for grabs!

Grow Wild’s North England Engagement Manager, Ben Fisher, is based in norther England and is happy to advise on ideas and applications – he can be contacted on b.fisher@kew.org or 07825 111 415
