Help Beechley Stables Survive

Beechley Stables provides horse riding opportunities to children and adults across Merseyside with disabilities. The Allerton-based charity is only able to do this as a result of income from lessons and charitable donations.

Now, as a result of Covid-19, the charity has had to close its gates to the public and is relying on donations to stay afloat.

Beechley provides a safe haven for riders and volunteers, where acceptance and nurturing are in abundance. Without Beechley, many individuals and families would lose the vital opportunity to take exercise and therapy.

One parent said of the charity, “As a parent of a disabled child, who unfortunately hasn’t a choice of too many hobbies, it’s fantastic to find a hobby that [she] can actually enjoy and fully participate in. The staff and volunteers are amazing.”
