HOBY UK is a highly successful small charity, led by young volunteers. It has an excellent record delivering leadership training to teenagers through one-day workshops and an annual residential seminar.

Job Description

If you believe passionately in the potential of young people and you have the skills and experience to lead a small charity, they’d love to hear from you.

This is initially a 0.2 part-time post (salary up to £8K), but if further funding is secured, the role could be expanded and extended. You will be home-based with some ‘in-the-field’ working. You will need to live within easy reach of Liverpool, Warrington, Manchester, or Oldham, where their volunteers and schools are currently located.

They are looking for a proven track-record of leadership in the following areas:

• Strategic Planning
• Working with volunteers
• An understanding of schools and youth organisations
• Finance and funding
• Governance.

Safeguarding is of paramount importance to HOBY UK. If you are shortlisted, they will request an enhanced DBS check.
