Holiday Hunger – Can You Help?

“Holiday hunger” is a real issue for many children who are entitled to free school meals during term time. There is currently no such provision during holidays, and for many families finding the money to provide extra meals every day is a huge financial burden and stress.

The Florrie is organising a ‘play and eat’ scheme for 5-11 year-olds during the summer holidays and would like your support in helping  to provide free nutritious lunch meals to local children.

The Florrie has a collection point in the reception at 377 Mill Street, Liverpool L8 4RF, for any dry food donations, cereal, tins, pasta, etc. You can drop off anytime between 8am-6pm.

The Florrie will also be collecting any extra food items in Tesco Park Road on Thursday 5 July 2018.
