Home-Start Knowsley – Administrator

Contract: 1 year initially, continuation subject to funding.
Salary: NJC SCP 6 – 10 £21,968- £23,620 pro rata.
Hours per week: 30 hours.
Reporting to: Scheme Manager.
Location: Home-Start Knowsley, 55 Rupert Road, Huyton, L36 9TB.

Home-Start Knowsley is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the emotional and physical health and wellbeing of local families with young children.

They now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as an Office Administrator. Your role will be working closely with their small friendly team of the Scheme Manager, team of Organisers/Co-ordinators, and Perinatal Support Worker, offering administrative support, collation of data using a data management system to provide timely accurate reports to management, Trustee Board, and funders.

The role entails a broad spectrum of tasks including administrative support to the organisation. You will be the initial point of contact for the organisation engaging with people in person, online, and via telephone to process queries, handle referrals, and provide support to volunteers. You will also be involved with fundraising, assist with recruitment & training, and the general promotion of the scheme and events through a variety of outlets including social media platforms. You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and be familiar with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

The role requires a positive attitude with a strong team work ethic, developing working relationships both internally and externally. You must also have the ability to work on your own when required, always demonstrating initiative and attention to detail.
