Term: Full-Time.
Salary: NJC SCP 29 – 32 £33,486 – £36,371.
Hours per week: 37 hours.
Reporting to: Pam Bowes.
Location: Office-based at Home-Start Knowsley.

Home-Start Knowsley is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the emotional and physical health and well-being of local families with young children. Qualified and experienced staff and well-trained volunteers support families to find solutions to overcome their difficulties and instigate life-long change.

Trustees wish to appoint a Scheme Manager with the following skills:

  • Ability to secure funding to ensure the sustainability of the Scheme
  • Take responsibility for providing leadership and management to the team
  • Manage financial budgets and statistical data
  • Be responsible for reporting to Trustees and funders.

Essential to the role is:

  • Successful track record of managing a similar-minded organisation or network
  • Knowledge of the voluntary sector/management committees
  • Ability to secure funding and experience of budgeting, planning, and financial systems
  • Ability to lead a team and develop networks and partnerships
  • Understand the needs of families with children
  • Knowledge of legislation and policy relating to children and families and safeguarding protocols.
