LCVS stands in solidarity with the people of Ukraine in this moment of immense pain and uncertainty. The world has reacted to the Russian invasion of Ukraine with shock and outrage. Most of us are scared, angry and confused and want to help.
LCVS has already engaged with statutory and community sector partners about how local organisations can be supported to help the people of Ukraine in the most effective way possible. Meanwhile, LCVS is encouraging organisations, businesses and individuals across the region to help however they can.

Donate to the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal
The DEC (Disasters Emergency Committee) brings together 15 leading aid charities at times of humanitarian crisis overseas. It includes Action Against Hunger, ActionAid, Age International, British Red Cross, CAFOD, CARE International, Christian Aid, Concern, International Rescue Committee, Islamic Relief, Oxfam, Plan International, Save the Children, Tearfund and World Vision.
