Imagine Independence 20/03 – Learning Disabilities Support Worker

Imagine Independence is a charity that promotes recovery and inclusion, enabling and supporting people to live full and independent lives. We are proud to have the support of up to 150 volunteers and over 200 staff members to help those who need us.

Position: Learning Disabilities Support Worker
Job Reference: 20/03
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, working a rolling rota
Salary: £16,050.55 p.a
Based in: Accommodation Service, Tuebrook area, Liverpool

We are looking for a professional, dedicated and experienced Support Worker who can offer commitment to delivering high quality community-based care to service users living in the Liverpool area. You will have experience of working with people with mental health and/or learning disability needs. You will need excellent communication skills and be flexible in approach. You will have a positive attitude and be non-judgmental.

It is essential to the role that you have a committed approach towards maintaining confidentiality protecting the dignity of the individual and promoting their independence.

It’s desirable that you have at least an NVQ2 qualification in Health and Social Care
