Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £18,523.86 per annum
Based in: Homeworking and in Sefton working with the Aspergers Team
Temporary 12 month post starting 1 February 2021

Imagine is recruiting for a vocational bridge builder role to work in an exciting new service in the Sefton area for people on the autistic spectrum. Bridge building support focuses on strengthening the quality of life for people who have been excluded. You will help individuals become less isolated and more socially included through facilitating and supporting access to; education; volunteering; employment. You will work closely with the Aspergers Team and also with Imagine’s IPS Service in Sefton.

You will have experience of working with people who have a diagnosis of autism/aspergers and/or mental health issues, who have been excluded from mainstream society. You must have a focus on recovery, be skilled in person centred planning and empowerment.

You must be capable of building partnerships with community organisations in order to expand the range of possibilities for people accessing the service.

You will have experience of supporting excluded groups into vocational activities.
