Job Summary
As a Business Support Officer, you will be part of a team responsible for delivering high-quality business support services across the organisation.
Your role will encompass handling internal and external communications, providing basic IT support, managing IT equipment inventory, and maintaining the organisation’s equipment asset register. You will manage their purchasing system and other digital management systems, as well as supporting with document control and archiving. Meticulous record-keeping is a key aspect of this role.
Key responsibilities:
- Front of House: Providing a friendly, welcoming, and professional office support and reception service, handling electronic communications, including responding to email and telephone inquiries
- Purchasing: Maintaining a well-organised purchasing system that ensures value for money
- IT Support Co-ordination: Liaising with their IT support provider to ensure issues with the organisation’s ICT assets are reported and resolved in a timely manner
- ICT Asset Management: Supporting with stock management of the organisation’s ICT assets
- Document Control: Supporting with document control and archiving & retention systems.
