Imagine Independence – Engager Worker

Position: Engager Worker.
Hours: 37.5 Hours (Full time shifts are worked in blocks of 4 on 4 off, on a rolling rota and will include days, nights and weekends, flexibility is essential, shifts will be discussed at interview).
Salary: £20,750.00 pa.
Location: Liverpool.

NHS England & NOMS have jointly commissioned a Housing & Accommodation Support Service, for male offenders with a personality disorder diagnosis who are on the offender pathway. The service will be delivered via a joint service model including health, criminal justice and specialist third sector housing & accommodation partners.

They are looking for Engager Workers to join their team, ideally you will have some experience of working with people with complex issues and knowledge/understanding of personality disorders.

  • Experience of developing therapeutic relationships with individuals with a range of support and emotional needs.
  • Strong skills in supporting individuals.
  • Knowledge and experience of supporting individuals regarding securing accommodation and developing skills in relation to tenancy sustainment.
  • A commitment to reducing repeat offending and improving psychological health & well-being.
