Imagine Independence – Project Manager

Term: Temporary – 6 months
Hours: 18.75 per week
Salary: £30,906p.a. pro rata
Location: Homeworking, and in Liverpool

This is an exciting role to work with Imagine Independence on its new Building Up Stronger (BUS) project, funded by the National Lottery and the Department of Culture, Media and Sport for a period of 6 months. A place focused, proof of concept, offering a new service in the 6 inner-city wards of Liverpool, BUS will bring forward a new, scalable service model fit for the post Covid 19 environment. By focusing on individuals’ lived experience of the Covid 19 pandemic, BUS will offer sustainable, effective interventions to promote and protect people’s well-being, in both the short and longer-term. It will do this by maximising their access to non-clinical VCSE services

As the Project Manager (PM) you will oversee the successful delivery of this pilot project, which will support people struggling with their mental health so that they emerge from the Covid 19 pandemic with their wellbeing maximised. This role will require strong organisational, communication and high-level digital skills. You will oversee the delivery of the project implementation plan; manage the ‘BUS’ team to achieve the outcomes of the project; promote the project to a range of partners and stakeholders across the city; develop links with other VCSE organisations; oversee the effective monitoring and evaluation of the project; and help identify and bid for funding to continue/scale up the project.

A confident communicator, you will help ensure that the ‘BUS’ project becomes known for its cutting edge, innovative approach to third sector support for the promotion of mental health and wellbeing. You will attend and report to any appropriate Steering Committee meetings about the progress of the project.
