Imagine Independence – Project Support Officer

Term: Temporary – 6 months position
Hours: 25 hours per week
Salary: £21,500 p.a. pro rata
Location: Liverpool

This is an exciting role to work with Imagine Independence on its new Building Up Stronger (BUS) project, funded by the National Lottery and the Department of Culture, Media and Sport for a period of 6 months. A place focused, proof of concept, offering a new service in the 6 inner-city wards of Liverpool, BUS will bring forward a new, scalable service model fit for the post Covid 19 environment. By focusing on individuals’ lived experience of the Covid 19 pandemic, BUS will offer sustainable, effective interventions to promote and protect people’s well-being, in both the short and longer-term. It will do this by maximising their access to non-clinical VCSE services

As the Project Support Officer (PSO) you will be key to the successful delivery of this pilot project, which will support people struggling with their mental health so that they emerge from the Covid 19 pandemic with their wellbeing maximised. This will be a fast-paced job – strong organisational, communication and high-level digital skills are vital. You will have experience of working at a high level in an administration role, with knowledge and experience of using data to support the monitoring and evaluation of similar community work. Adept at using the Microsoft Office suite, you will also be capable of scheduling meetings, supporting committees and helping the team to keep the project on track.

A confident communicator, you will help to promote the project using a range of tools, including social media.
