Imagine Independence is a third sector organisation that supports people to live full and meaningful lives. Imagine campaigns to promote the inclusion in society of individuals with a range of needs, from mental illness, learning disability, neurodiversity, and complex behaviour that challenges. Position: Support Worker Job Reference: 21/39
Hours: 37.5 per week Salary: £17,419.05 per annum additional sleep in payment.
Based in: Southport, Merseyside – Supported Accommodation Service

We are looking for a professional, dedicated and experienced Support Worker who can offer commitment to delivering high quality community-based care to service users living in the Liverpool area. You will have experience of working with people with mental health and/or learning disability needs. You will need excellent communication skills and be flexible in approach. You will have a positive attitude and be non-judgmental.

It is essential to the role that you have a committed approach towards maintaining confidentiality protecting the dignity of the individual and promoting their independence.

It is desirable that you have at least an NVQ2 qualification in Health and Social Care.
