Position: Autism Hubs Bridge Builder Job Reference: 19/21
Based in Sefton, Liverpool 18.75 hours per week
Salary: £9,011.93 per annum Temporary post: 12 months
A new role at Imagine has been developed, in partnership with Sefton Council and Sefton Carers Centre, to provide Bridge Building support to adults with Asperger’s Syndrome, who are on the Autism Spectrum or have associated conditions.
The post holder will strengthen the quality of life for people accessing Sefton Autism Hubs, by supporting individuals into a range of community mainstream activities, including education, employment, health and appropriate groups and clubs.
You will have experience of working with people who have been excluded from mainstream society with a focus on recovery, person centred planning and empowerment.
You must be capable of building partnerships with community organisations in order to expand the range of possibilities for people accessing the service.
