Position: Engager Worker
Job Reference: 19/11 Based in: Liverpool
Hours: Requirement to work shifts as part of a rota. A mix of full time, part time, day and waking night shifts available
Day shift 8am- 8pm Night shift: 8pm- 8am
Salary: £18,000 pro rata

NHS England & NOMS have jointly commissioned a Housing & Accommodation Support Service for male offenders with a personality disorder diagnosis who are on the offender pathway.
The new service will be delivered via a joint service model including health, criminal justice and specialist third sector housing & accommodation partners.
Specialist support will be provided in relation to housing and accommodation needs in order to enable people being supported within the service to progress into independent living; engage in safe social engagement and integration into the community.

We require an Engager Worker who has substantial experience of working with people with offending profiles with complex and multiple needs including personality disorder diagnosis in recovery focused services.

If you have the following assets we would like to hear from you:

  • Experience of developing empowering and therapeutic relationships with individuals with a range of support and emotional needs;
  • Strong skills in supporting individuals with social inclusion and removing significant barriers to fulfilling and meaningful community living;
  • Knowledge and experience of supporting individuals with regard to securing accommodation and developing skills in relation to tenancy sustainment;
  • A commitment to reducing repeat offending and improving psychological health & wellbeing.
