Salary: £24,836 (usual starting salary) – £26,677 per annum pro rata
Hours: 28 hours per week (0.8 FTE)
Contract: Fixed-term until 31 December 2018
The Project and Training Coordinator will lead an ambitious team to deliver the Building Better Opportunities (BBO) Include-IT Mersey project promoting Digital Inclusion in Liverpool City Region (LCR). You will be responsible for maintaining a team to drive forward delivery using an agreed core model and approach within the project covering the areas of Sefton and Halton.
It is anticipated that the post holder will work closely with a range of stakeholders which are likely to include: Include-IT Mersey Project Lead and partners, community organisations, service providers (e.g. DWP, JCP) employers, The Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) members, volunteers, staff and project participants.
The post-holder may also be required to deliver sessions and provide cover for staff delivering courses targeted at eligible local working age people to increase their employability skills and move towards employment and training. S/he will be expected to represent the WEA and promote it and the value of adult education in relevant contexts.
