Hours: Full Time 35 Hours per week
Salary: £24,000 per annum
Location: Liverpool

Irish Community Care is a charitable company whose aim is to ensure well informed, empowered and vibrant Irish communities in the North West. We are working with Irish community organisations across the North West of England to deliver CARA Irish Communities Together through COVID-19; a dedicated COVID-19 response service which aims to support our communities to stay safe, well and connected through lockdown (and beyond).

CARA partners are: Brian Boru Club in Wigan, Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, GAA (Liverpool John Mitchels GFC and Wolfe Tones GAA), Institute of Irish Studies at the University of Liverpool, Irish Community Care, Irish Community Care Manchester, Liverpool Irish Centre, Liverpool Irish Festival, Mersey Harps and Shenanigans.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic community focused individual to lead on this nationally recognised initiative ensuring vulnerable people in our communities stay safe, well and connected during COVID-19. You will lead on the co-ordination of the Volunteer Befriending and Shopping Buddy Service, develop and implement a programme of digital inclusion, maintain excellent working relationships with CARA partners, co-ordinate and promote the monthly CARA newsletter and be an ambassador for this nationally recognised project.
