Healthwatch St Helens are looking for 2 new team members to support their engagement and communication work with local people, patients and partners.

Healthwatch St Helens is your local watchdog for health and social care services, helping people to get the best out of local services, whether it’s improving them today or helping to shape them for tomorrow. Local Healthwatch is all about local voices being able to influence the delivery and design of local services.  Not just people who use them, but anyone who might need to in the future.

Healthwatch St Helens Project Support Officer

36 hours a week£25,286 per annum

In this role you will be supporting a wider team encouraging local people to share their views about health and social care services, You will support with maintaining their ongoing social media presence and organising, promoting and running events in their communities to gather the views of local people. You will offer support to their volunteers and promote volunteering opportunities. You will be responsible for handling email and telephone enquiries, directing those enquiries and for general admin activities.

Healthwatch St Helens Engagement & Communications Officer

36 hours a week,  £25,286 per annum

In this role you will be engaging with local people to gather their views and experiences of using local health and social care services to ensure their voices are heard, You will be responsible for creating their ongoing social media presence relating to the work of Healthwatch St Helens and be pivotal in organising, promoting and running events in their communities to listen to the views of local people on health and social care issues as well as seeking out opportunities to gather local feedback.
