At Merseyside Polonia, they’ve been working very hard to create a calendar of activities that foster physical activity, lifelong learning, social connections, and the exploration of the beautiful parks and historical places in our region.
Their activities are free of charge and open to all members of the local community.
Whether you’re looking to get active, learn something new, or simply meet new friends, there’s something for everyone. Mark your calendars and join them for an engaging and enriching month!

Walking Group
Weekly / Every Tuesday
11 AM
Join them for a refreshing walk through local parks and scenic areas. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy nature, stay active, explore famous spots in Liverpool and meet new people. They discover a different park/green spaces every week.

English Classes
Weekly / Every Wednesday
11 AM – 1 PM
Classes for beginners who want to learn English language in informal, friendly and supportive atmosphere.The lessons take place in our office. Learners can self-refer (via email or Facebook page)
Cycling Group
Weekly / Every Saturday
11 AM – 2 PM
Join them for a leisurely bike ride through various routes around Liverpool. It’s a fantastic way to stay fit and enjoy the outdoors. There is no need to own a bike as they have access to free bikes. At the minute meet ups take place in Croxteth Park. This group is designed for those who want to grow in confidence in bike riding, want to meet new people and stay active. Their meeting point is at the field at the back of Croxteth Hall.
Volunteers Meeting

The meeting is open to all who would like to get involved with their activities from delivery perspective. Their organisation supports personal development and we strongly believe that volunteering is the perfect opportunity to learn and share your knowledge and skills.
Coffee with a Book: Polonia’s Book Club

This month’s book selection is Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari, this will be discussed over coffee at their office. A perfect setting for book lovers who want to meet new people, share insights and recommendations.

Women’s Circle (W Kręgu Kobiet)

An evening for women to gather, share stories, and build a supportive community. Each meet up has a theme, this month they will discuss women’s health with presentation from a Polish speaking professional from local PCN.
Polish Heritage/History Group

Location: Merseyside Polonia Office, LCVS Building, 151 Dale Street L2 2AH
Dive into the rich history and heritage of Poland and Polish community in the UK. Together they share stories, learn, and celebrate their cultural legacy. Part of this month’s meet up is to plan a trip outside of Liverpool to discover places of significance outside of Liverpool.
