Join the Liverpool City Region Youth Bank

An exciting opportunity has arisen for children and young people across the Liverpool City Region to participate within a new Youth Bank project.

The Alder Hey Youth Forum has teamed up with the NSPCC and Youth Bank International to run a new Youth-Led initiative in which young people will become commissioners of a pot of funding that they will distribute to local groups of young people to empower them to tackle issues related to safety.

They are recruiting a small panel of young people aged between 12-18 years of age to undertake a training programme to equip them with the skills, knowledge and confidence to become young leaders who are knowledgeable around all aspects of funding governance.

The Youth Bank panel will meet weekly in the Liverpool City Centre to engage in a fun and informative training programme.

Young people can learn more about Youth Bank and express an interest in joining the panel by either scanning the QR code on the attached poster, or alternatively they can access the expression of interest form directly by clicking here.

If you have any questions about this opportunity, please contact alex.jones@alderhey.nhs.uk.
