Kinship Carers Liverpool – Trustee

Kinship Carers is a charity set up to support Kinship families, that being any person, family or friend, who have taken on the responsibility of raising grandchildren, nephews, nieces etc. when their biological parents can no longer raise them.

We promote equality, health and education, and offer advice and support to all family members.

We are looking to expand our board of trustees, the role of which is to maintain the general control and administration of the charity by having a long-term overview of the organisation and its work, making strategic decisions about the organisations objectives, policies and procedures and monitoring the work of the organisation.

We are particularly interested in people who may have knowledge in; education, technical skills, finance skills, campaigning and activism.

We currently meet as a board once every six weeks for appox. 2 hours. In addition, there will be opportunities to get involved in a variety of other activities that may be of interest to you.

To contact the organisation and express an interest in this opportunity, visit the Kinship Carers website.
