Kinship Carers Project – Family/Young Persons Project Worker

Salary: SPC 22-26 (£22.304 – £22,987).
Hours: 20 hours pro-rata.

Kinship Carers is a registered Liverpool-based charity that supports families. Their aim is to reduce isolation and stigma felt by families, offering support with the many challenges they face and to raise awareness about kinship. With their recent success in securing 3 years of Steve Morgan funding, they are looking to recruit a dynamic, community-minded Project Worker who has high levels of experience for this exciting new phase of their development.

They are looking for candidates who have experience of working with families, with a focus on children and young people, achieving positive outcomes through direct work. They will have experience working with families who often have complex needs, creating positive relationships and developing packages to support these needs.

Candidates will need knowledge of delivering community-based support services to families across the city. You will be looking to grow your own career and to get involved with developing effective systems which will be key for them in developing an efficient support programme for Kinship Families.

The main function of this post is to provide an efficient, effective and qualitative support service. To work collaboratively as a team member to achieve agreed team goals and objectives.
