Launch of Liverpool Safeguarding Children Board

Including:

  • An introduction to the new Liverpool Neglect Screening Tool
  • The Graded Care Profile (V2) (and online case management system)

Liverpool’s multi-agency partners want to make sure that all agencies work together so that anyone who comes into contact with children and young people is able to recognise and respond to cases where a child or young person may be at risk of emerging neglect or at risk of harm from neglect.

To help professionals to do this, we have introduced a new Neglect Screening Tool and are supporting the use of the NSPCC Tool – The Graded Care Profile (V2).

This event is aimed at leaders, managers and staff from all agencies (Adults and Children’s) and will provide information about the impact of Neglect on Children and Young people, the local context in which the Neglect Strategy has been written and practitioner perspectives on the new tools to support practice.

The event will take place on Friday 7 December 2018, at LACE Conference Centre, Croxteth Drive, Liverpool L17 1AA.

Please attend either:

  • Morning Session                 9.30 – 12.00pm

OR

  • Afternoon Session             1.00 – 3.30pm

Places can be booked via the Early Help Directory

Please note:

There will be an agency marketplace in-between these sessions. If you would like your agency to be represented at the market place to share your resources, please contact Kate.Bright@Liverpool.gov.uk.
