The LCR Culture & Creativity Awards recognise and celebrate excellence and innovation in art, culture and creativity within the Liverpool City Region. It is now open for nominations. Part of the Metro Mayor’s Percent for Culture initiative, these awards recognise the value and huge contribution that the cultural and creative sector bring to the Liverpool City Region making it one of the most vibrant and exciting places to live, work, study in, visit or do business in.
They want to acknowledge the power and value of culture and creativity and how they achieve positive outcomes that everyone can benefit from including:
- work by artists/arts organisations
- creative and imaginative ideas within communities
- innovation within business, work and education.
Nominations can be for an individual, organisation, group or partnership that is involved in the creation, promotion and use of culture and creativity including the following art forms:
- Performing Arts (eg: Theatre, Dance, Music, Opera)
- Visual Arts
- Digital Art
- Photography
- Film and broadcast media
- Literature
- Museums, Galleries and Heritage
- Craft.
